Caroline Reisiger – Winner 2016
The winner of the Tracy Hunter Memorial Award this year is Caroline Reisiger. As a member of the e3 class, Caroline demonstrated tremendous leadership and teamwork abilities in all of our class activities and projects. Her academic efforts were also second to none as she obtained highest grade in the program. Having grown up in a rural setting, she has obtained a genuine respect for nature and the Earth’s resources. We even have 2 trees planted on our school grounds that her family donated from their woodlot. She is a person who gave of her time and talents constantly for our class and our school. In her final year of high school she was elected co-prime minister of Pauline Johnson’s students’ council, and this role served our school with exemplary dedication, planning and running numerous events and activities. She has a quintescential “mother hen” personality, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Caroline is now currently studying Plant Science at the University of Guelph.
