Tyler Kelly– Winner 2012/13
The winner of the Tracy Hunter Memorial Award this year is Tyler Kelly. Tyler demonstrated excellent effort and skill when completing the Specialist High Skills Major requirements of the e3 Program. His dedication to his class work and field work was exceptional. He was also well respected by his peers and in turn was an excellent role model for them. Tyler was especially appreciated during his COOP placement at the Apps Mill Nature Center. During his time there, the staff at the Grand River Conservation Authority were impressed with his work ethic and positive influence he had on younger school children that he was entrusted with. He would always go above and beyond what was expected. Next year, Tyler plans to further his education at Fleming College, majoring in the Fish and Wildlife program. After completing this he intends to pursue the Conservation and Environment Law program to become a conservation officer.
