Pauline Johnson offers a Specialist High Skills Major program focusing on “The Environment”. This is a ministry-approved specialized program that will allow students to focus their learning on the environment and leadership in an outdoor setting. This program is a package of 4 courses offered in the second semester. It will feature 2 full days a week, learning outdoors at the Apps Mill Nature Centre, in partnership with the Grand River Conservation Authority.
The goal of the e3 program is to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the complexities of ecology in an experiential outdoor setting; foster attributes of responsibility and leadership with respect to the environment; and provide exposure to industry related professionals and careers.
